NutritionVegetarians
Vegetarianism is generally understood as a plant based diet and the partial or total waiver of animal products (Perry, Mcguire, NeumarkSztainer & Story, 2001). In this case there are a variety of subtypes. For example, the Ovo-lacto Vegetarians, who consume eggs and milk. For those who don’t consume both, either the “ovo” for the egg, or the "lacto" for milk, ceases to apply. Another form of Vegetarianism is practiced by the Pescetarians, who basically follow a Vegetarian diet, but in addition they also consume fish.

Ratios

The Paleo approach doesn’t focus much on dictating macronutrient ratios or caloric intake, what matters is the consumption of enough vegetables, protein (at least 0.75 g per kg of lean body mass) and good-quality dietary fat sources (Ballantyne, 2013; Kresser, 2013). The recommended macronutrient ratios vary within the Paleo approach. Calculate your macronutrient ratio
