Who I am

I am a psychologist, a voluntary counselor, a translator and I like to practice bodybuilding training in my free time. I am also interested in Diet and Nutrition. I grew up as a Vegetarian, but I've been living a vegan lifestyle since over 10 years. Therefore I decided to combine the AIP approach and a Vegan diet as a new way of healing nutrition. Fortunately, I don't suffer from an autoimmune disease, but unluckily I have an underactive thyroid and countless food allergies. I thought that being Vegan would be enough to maintain a healthy gut, but in my case I needed to go a step further. So I had to be very disciplined following the Vegan-AIP for almost 7 months. I am very pleased with the results. For now, I can say that my health issues have immensely improved, especially my gut health.
Of course there have been some situations in which I felt frustrated or deprived, mostly at the beginning of this diet plan. Nonetheless, I felt worse constantly dealing with health issues and not knowing what type of foods were the culprits. Finding out and understanding my food choices enables me to feel and stay healthy and energetic. |
